The Editorial Photography Estimator is a new tool that helps a photographer evaluate the value of their work relative to the use desired by any given magazine. The prices expressed in this software is a guideline of what an individual photographer might be able to negotiate with a magazine when negotiation is done in good faith by both parties. Invariably, some individuals will negoatiate higher assignment fees than others. Essentially, the goal of this software is such that the individual photographer does not feel obligated to give up all rights to receive assignments from publishers. The Editorial Photography Estimator provides the tool for a photographer to evaluate and estimate compensation based upon the usage needs of a given client.
